May we walk this earth as on a carpet,
with respect for the path we tread,
conscious of Gaia, our mother earth—
compassion incarnate—with arms that reach
to embrace plant, animal, insect, and human.
Flowers adorn her as she welcomes us in her caress.
As we become more aware so too does Gaia.
As Gaia becomes more understanding, so do we,
and we flow as one, in the river of life–in creation.
We are invited to enjoy: the mountains,
the trees, the animals, the stars, and the seas.
On this planet, our home, our heart door opens
to receive all the gifts before us.
We open our eyes and hearts and feel the care
in every plant we eat and water that we drink.
She is here for our sustenance.
Let us rest in her solicitude as we allow creation
without and within us to birth new and alive,
as we are part of the ever-evolving life
that is planet earth, Gaia.
This is our mission, our why:
to receive and to give,
to be the unique spirits that we are,
to live one with all, live in care,
and dance with joy.
