A SUNRISE PRAYER

Oh Sun, I witness your light as you challenge me 
to be bold, to cast illumination out into the world, 
to shine despite clouds of fear that darken my vision.

In each new day, may I expand my soul, trust the path 
of compassion, seek peace within each heart.

May I shine as you teach me, to live in fullness, 
beyond all panic and dread. 
May your radiance remind me, to trust always, 
in the way of love and light.

I traveled 1400 miles to the ocean for rest and renewal. The temps this morning are as cold as Minnesota but, blessed be, the ocean heals.
