Increase of Gratitude

Earth dressed in crystalline light
arouses us with her majesty 
as we open doors, open hearts,
give thanks for the beauty of life,
for the food set upon the table,
remembering those missing from
our sight, love alive in the memories,
grief shared through our gaze, 
prayers proclaimed 
for those who have not,
who struggle in these cold darkened days,
and wish for peace upon this land, 
in all beings.
May this day of gratitude increase into all days,
all moments, when we see within us,
within each other,
the spark of light that shines in all, 
divine consciousness,
an infinity of delight.
