The Dance of Light

A lone candle flickers and swirls 
in these days of deepening shadow 
to remind us of the illumination
that will guide our passage,
to not fear as darkness quickens. 

We seek the light within
as divine mystery unfolds 
and radiance guides the way.

It is prayer and play as light sways  
and we find our dance in the light, 
we find our dance in the dark, 
as all are one and the same, 
all is revealed, as all is love.
