from Mindful_Contemplations
I enjoyed time away and the photo problem is fixed. I took a trip with my daughter and then a week camping with Leo’s family—this year only 75 made it. 🙂 I painted for my Heart Coherence Series and feel deeply satisfied. It is good to be back here with you.

I drift near
while he rests
resplendent
in black and white
and we rock
in gentle peace
to the rhythm of waves
as the radiant orb
makes its way down
to the tree line
leaving us to navigate
in that magical time
between day and night
his family protected
in dark back waters
wait for this sentinel
to declare safety
and the moment
to deliver
a haunting call
as I paddle
to solid land
and to my bed
to wait for the song
that arrives
across the lake
to stir a longing
deep within my soul
and a connection
to the peace felt
when he and I
floated together
and swayed
in the dying light

Good to see you Janis ❤️
Thanks so much, Maggie.
Being in nature
Walking in the forest
Pausing to hear the trees speaking to me
Watching the pollinators
Butterflies, Hummers, Honey Bees
Drawing up the nectars
I love to praise the trees for their groundedness and deep roots
I earn for this as I often feel adrift
I often image the view from the treetops
Pure bliss returns to me💜
So beautiful, Jane. Thanks for the offering of your intimate connection to nature. I feel it in you through your calm, grounded, kind, presence. ❤️
The loon and I have had a deep connection ever since I heard its first haunting call in the middle of the night as a young boy.
Beautiful, John. I believe it is such a privilege to hear that call.
That connection to peace from within in the presence of the loon …..
I am glad you are back, Jan
Thank you so much, Eileen. 💗
