The green leaves of spring
fill the once open spaces
as I set my gaze toward Spirit River.
It is there, flowing with the speed
of recent rainfall, yet I cannot see it.
A glimpse here, a glimpse there, as I sit
on my deck—the quiet observer.
Just so is the river of life:
invisible yet constant,
mysterious yet accessible,
within my reach, yet seeming
beyond my grasp, available
always through the spaces that allow a view.
An energy alive and obtainable in every moment
to lift hearts, open minds to possibility,
toward expansion, toward ever-flowing grace.
I bring my gaze to the open spaces,
rest my mind and heart in the flow,
here and now, always within.

Thank you, Maggie. I hope you enjoyed a refreshing time away.
A splendid write. And yes. It’s all there. But we need to be aware first. How beautiful you wrote this. Xoxo
Thank you, Selma. Yes, waking up can be so hard to do. 🥰
Spirit River is always there, “invisible and constant.” Thank you.
You are so welcome, Frank. 🥰
