Art by Janis Dehler
Heat once again moves in,
tender shoots of daisy wilt
and search to quench a thirst
in parched loose soil.
So too my heart reaches
into depths of dry memories,
faded and frayed,
barren of sustenance.
Yet, just as the bloom turns
to reach toward the sun,
I lift my gaze to this moment,
a pulse of the possible.
The joy of breath to create.
Now, to satiate in grace.

Lovely description capturing the mood, Janis
Thank you, VJ! 🥰
Thank you Janis, beautiful sentiments as always, plus the painting. The pulse of the moment, a pulse of possibility.
Thank you, Heidi! I hope all is well with you. So good to hear. 🥰
Thank you, Janis for reminding me- “the
joy of breath …” is so powerful. As a yogi, I appreciate the power of breath. But today, my mind is weary, my heart is calm. Our faith community is hosting families in transition. We have an immigrant family from Africa. The father left mom and his two daughters to return to his home country to be with his dyeing mother, not to return.
I lift up Grace for this momma and will reach out to our New Pathways staff for guidance and support🙏Prayers for this family and our volunteers☮️💜
Prayers are with you Jane as you support these families in transition as they breathe in more sustainable living. You are a part of their possibility. Blessings.
