“It is a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in this broken world.” Mary Oliver
I feel these words in my bones this last day of May. I am startled by the calendar as June sneaks up during busy living and harsh headlines. Within two weeks of May, I drove over 2000 miles all for fun with grandkids and friends. I am still trying to get my feet on the ground with all routine out the window. I am in between selves, not feeling the poet nor the artist. Just me. Here. Now. It is a good place to be with nothing to claim other than, I am alive. Waiting for direction. Busy with daily tasks. Feeling open to new paths while wondering, what do I bring to this broken world?
I breathe.
Blessings on your day of living,
Janis

A perfect message for me today as I also was in Texas for a month with Grandkids. The Minnesota gardener in me is behind on planting. So I breathe. I am thankful to be living. So I breathe, and take it all in. One day at a time.
Thank you, Lynette. One day. ❤️
